Community projects
What is it: A community project is a term applied to any community-based project. This covers a wide variety of different areas within a community or a group of networking entities. Projects can cover almost anything.  Service and Mission: Service and Mission is a large part of Avondale life. We believe that as Christians, it is our duty to serve by helping others.

Healthy community assessment tool - with an Indigenous focus
  • The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet is an innovative Internet resource that aims to inform practice and policy in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. The Healthy community assessment tool project aimed to develop and trial a tool to measure, monitor and evaluate key social determinants of health at a community level in Australian rural and remote communities. 
Community Projects Unit (EDUC4186) at the University of South Australia
  • This unit puts practical skills to use in rewarding community ventures. Assessment centres on the ways in which students collaborate to solve problems and engage with their community partners.  It includes a learning journal, a project proposal, presentation and a final report.
