National competency standards for the registered nurse
  • Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) - As a registered nurse, these core competency standards provide you with the framework for assessing your competence, and are used by the National Board to assess competence as part of the annual renewal of registration, to assess nurses. Universities also use the standards when developing nursing curricula, and to assess student and new graduate performance.
